我是Zafka Zhang（张安定）。这是我的个人博客。这个博客的域名是MetaverseToday.com。如其名，之前这是一个完全探讨3D虚拟世界和3D互联网的博客，内容涉足观察和记录包括Second Life，HiPiHi等世界各地的3D虚拟世界，以及3D互联网的各种力量。原因是，我虽然一直是重度的互联网使用者，但对互联网的研究，确是2006年初从进入Second Life开始的。

2008年12月，我离开了工作将近两年的HiPiHi，全身心投入到我创立不久的，专注于中国年轻消费者研究和营销咨询的青年志(China Youthology)公司。我研究的范围，也从虚拟世界拓展到社会化媒体，数字空间文化，中国青年文化，年轻人市场营销等更为广阔的领域。我相信，中国当下的年轻人，与全球的年轻人一样，都是第一代Net/Digital Generation，中国深度的全球化和互联网的发展，已经开始改变现有的marketing和branding等领域。

从某种意义上说，从2D到3D，从虚拟现实到移动终端，从商业实践到重写代际基因，今日的metaverse，已经更为复杂广阔，更具有潜力。还是那句话，这是一个全新的江湖，欢迎和我一起闯荡Metaverse。

Zafka Zhang（ZHANG Anding）

  • Zafka is the co-founder of China Youthology, a company works on consumer insights for marketing, communication, and product design targeting the youth in China market.
  • Zafka is a pioneering digital space researcher and blogger in China, head of research team in HiPiHi (China’s virtual world platform)from March 2007 to Dec 2008, one of the advisors for Association of Virtual Worlds (global industry association), and a project member of Creative Commons China mainland.
  • He was the senior front-page editor and columnist of China’s leading business newspaper, 21st CBH (21st Century Business Herald), focusing on in-depth reports in social, political, economic, and Internet topics. He continues to write for online/offline mainstream media (such as 21st CBH, City Pictorial and Urban China) today.
  • He obtained two Masters in Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology in Fudan (Shanghai) and SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies, Univ. of London).
  • Zafka is also an acclaimed sound artist and experimental musician in China. His art works have been published/exhibited in China, US, Europe, and Asia.
